Got a Call From 925-446-3690925-446-3690? It’s not Microsoft. It is a scam

Any calls coming from 925-446-3690 regarding Microsoft Updates is a scam. Please the number. It’s a spoofed one anyway. Microsoft never cold-calls people regarding updates.

They will try the following:

“I am a Microsoft Certified Technician and we are calling you concerning your computer declining our updates.”
“I am from Microsoft and your computer contacted us regarding its lack of updates.”
“I am calling on behalf of Microsoft and it appears your computer has a virus.”

This is NOT legit and if you received this from a different number, please comment with the number. What should you do if you receive a call like this? Hang up. You can also contact your local police department, Microsoft, and/or the Better Business Bureau.

Hard to believe this is still going on but as long as people fall for it, it will still be attempted. The number used is spoofed although it is bizarre that they repetitively use the same one. Block this number.

Here come the Student Athletic Unions!!!

As Northwestern Players Pursue Unionization, a Voice in the Wilderness Gains a Chorus

As the sanctions continue to oppress programs, punishing mostly poor and minority students – the NCAA and many academics yielded no quarter to the plight of the student athlete juxtaposed with the booming big business of college sports. Yes, Shane Battier asking for NBA-style salaries was ridiculous over a decade ago. But Shane Battier was one guy. What most of these athletes need, they cannot get because it will cost them their careers and colleges their programs.

Is it too much to ask to provide student athletes with the following:

  • Full Room and Board
  • 1000 a month stipend
  • Scholarship insurance
  • Transportation back and forth home
  • Health/Medical Care fully covered while playing
  • Graduation Financial Bonus

Why do Universities take sponsorship’s, merchandise deals, and TV deals allowing coaching staff to make millions. The Officers of the NCAA make millions as well – yet they will not even allow the above for the students.

The NCAA should have seen this coming. As the Internet says, “You should have expected us!”
