Hate Crimes

I’ve turned the corner on Hate Crimes. It’s one thing to attack someone, neutralize him or her simply to get something from them. When you savagely beat someone for pleasure because you hate who they are, that is another. You don’t care how much money is in their wallet. You have no desire to take anything from them. You simply just want to make them hurt. I think that *IS* a special type of crime. I think it is pathetic that it took an event affecting someone I knew to realize this. I am ashamed. Soldiers die in the name of freedom to pursue life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Church Office Failed to Act on Abuse Scandal

I wonder if the Pope travels to certain contries that outlaw racketeering and cover-ups (i.e. The UK and of course, US!!!) would he be charged and arrested? Shouldn’t he be? Also – is it me but did he not he looked even creepier when younger?
